From the Library
The Lutheran Church of the Incarnation Library is open to all members of our congregation.  We seek to provide both print and non-print material which will strengthen the educational work of our congregation, increase knowledge of our own and others' faith, enrich our worship life, provide information on social and economic issues, foster an appreciation of good books and deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ.  All materials will conform to the doctrines of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America unless clearly indicated as "other religions."  Non-ELCA materials will be for informational purposes only.  Policies and procedures will be established by the library committee.

At the present time we have over 800 books in our library.  The books are grouped by reader interest.  Some of the categories are: Biographies, Bible Studies, Commentaries, Christian Life, Devotional/Prayer, Fiction, History/Travel, Health, Lutheran, Marriage, Family, Other Religions and Videos.  There are also over 140 children's videos and books on parenting.

The library is located in the same building as the youth director's office, near Swanson Hall and across from the Sunday School office.  It is open every Sunday between services and a key is available in the church office for your convenience at other times.  Weather permitting, we have a book cart in the courtyard between services and in the narthex before the Saturday evening service.
