In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Displayed in this window are the elements of the Creation.  At the center is the sun, flanked on the right side by the stars and the moon.  Just below the sun are the birds of the air, the beasts of the field and the fish of the sea.  At the bottom are two figures representing Adam and Eve, and the forbidden fruit, symbolized by an apple and the serpent, the tempter.  The flaming sword reminds us of the fall of humanity and their expulsion from Eden, our once perfect relationship with God.
