Patriarchs At the top of the window is a rainbow signifying God's covenant with Noah after the flood. Below is an image of a pointing hand and a four pointed star symbolizing God's appointment of Abraham as the patriarchal leader of Israel. The tent relates to the wandering of Abraham and Lot. The palm tree at the left reminds us of Abraham, Isaac and Joseph and the time in Egypt. The horn and grapes refer to conquering the land of plenty initiated by Moses and brought about by Joshua and the twelve tribes. |
