Sitka Lutheran Church founded in 1839 in Sitka, Alaska is the oldest Lutheran Church on the West Coast of North America.  Pastor James Drury was an intern at LCI a few years ago.

St. Paul's Cathedral serves as the seat of the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego.  Our former Pastor Jack  Lindquist was installed as an honorary Canon on November 18, 2001.

Congregation Chabad is a family synagogue abundant with love and rich in Jewish culture and spirit. The religious services are traditional. The congregation is our neighbor "2 doors down". We hosted their day school while the new temple and facilities were being built.

 

St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church held it's first service on February 28, 1960, making it one of Poway's early churches. LCI and St. Bart's often have shared worship services on holidays and holydays.

 

St Anne's Lutheran Church worships at the church of St Anne and St Agnes in London, England. Now including people of more than 30 nationalities, it is part of the Lutheran Church in Great Britain, which is a member church of the Lutheran World Federation. As an international community, St Anne's has services in Amharic, English, and Swahili. The building is also home to the Estonian and Latvian congregations in London who have monthly services. Pastor Jana Jeruma-Grinberga visited LCI in November 2002.
